🔥 NEW NEVERSINK APPARATUS PATCHES 🔥
Built for the job. Worn with pride.
We’re proud to release two new apparatus patches that reflect how Neversink Fire Company goes to work when our community needs us most.
⚔️ Rescue-Engine | “Dragon Slayer”
Built for the hard jobs—technical calls, complex scenes, and moments that demand precision and adaptability. This patch represents confronting danger directly and having the skill to overcome it.
🔥 Engine 14 | “Dragon Wagon”
The backbone of our response. Engine 14 brings the water, the power, and the push when lives and property are threatened. Strong, reliable, and relentless—just like the crews behind it.
Both designs were created by Jobtown Graphics, who worked with us to turn our ideas into designs we’re proud to wear.
Every patch directly supports our volunteers, training, and operations.

Our volunteer crews have been hard at work staffing and ensuring emergency preparedness for our community. With lots of hands on deck comes the need for good food to keep our members fueled and ready.
Earlier this evening, Makin’ The Hit Emergency Media Services & News reached out and generously reimbursed the cost of breakfast for our entire crew from this morning.
We’re incredibly thankful for their thoughtfulness and support. Gestures like this go a long way in reminding our volunteers that their dedication and long hours they choose to give do not go unnoticed.

🚒❄️ Hydrant Clearing Underway
As we head into the evening hours, our volunteers are out right now clearing snow and ice from fire hydrants throughout North Cornwall Township.
We’d like to thank the residents who have already taken the time to clear hydrants near their homes — your efforts truly make a difference. We’ve also identified several hydrants that are not accessible, and in an emergency, those seconds matter when water is needed.
We encourage residents to identify where hydrants are located in your neighborhood and help keep them cleared and accessible during winter weather. A few minutes with a shovel can make a critical difference.
Earlier today, Neversink Fire Company responded to and cleared the following incidents:
• Vehicle Fire – West Cumberland Street area (Sheetz West Cumberland), Fire Box 14-02
• CO Detector Activation – Lilac Lane, Fire Box 14-03
Our station remains staffed and available to respond to any emergencies.
Thank you for helping keep our community safe and for supporting your local volunteers. ... See MoreSee Less

🚒 Winter Safety Reminder for Our Community ❄️
As snow continues to fall, we’re asking residents to take a few minutes to help with several important winter safety reminders:
🔴 Fire Hydrants
Please clear snow and ice at least 4 feet in all directions (360°) around fire hydrants, including access to the hydrant caps. Quick access can make a critical difference during an emergency.
🏠 Home Exhaust & Intake Vents
Please check and clear snow from home exhaust and intake vents, including heating system and furnace exhausts, dryer vents, and water heater or boiler vents. Blocked vents can cause carbon monoxide (CO) to back up into the home, creating a serious and potentially life-threatening hazard.
🚨 Snow Emergency Notice
A snow emergency for North Cornwall Township goes into effect tonight at 10:00 PM. Vehicles MUST be removed from all designated snow emergency routes to allow crews to safely clear the roads.
🅿️ Pleasant Hill Residents – Parking
If you live in the Pleasant Hill area and need a place to park during the snow emergency, vehicles may be parked at Neversink Fire Company in the CONED-OFF SECTION ONLY on the Center Street side of the firehouse.
Thank you for helping keep our community safe during winter weather. Stay warm and stay safe. ❄️🚒 ... See MoreSee Less
