⏰ Spring Forward Reminder
Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday, March 8th at 2:00 AM. Don’t forget to set your clocks one hour ahead before heading to bed Saturday night.
While you’re adjusting your clocks, take a moment to test the smoke alarms in your home and check the batteries.
Working smoke alarms provide an early warning in the event of a fire and can make the difference between a safe escape and a tragic outcome.
A few quick safety reminders:
• Test smoke alarms monthly
• Replace batteries at least once per year
Taking just a few minutes this weekend can help keep your family safe.

It’s been a busy start to the day for Neversink.
Crews were dispatched around 2:30am to Palmyra Borough for a multi-dwelling call at the Shoe Factory Apartments. While operating there, additional calls began coming in. One of our units was re-routed to handle an electrical hazard before returning to service.
Later this morning, volunteers responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries, followed by another reported low-hanging wire in North Cornwall Township — bringing the total to four calls before 10:00am.
Four incidents, across multiple municipalities, before most of the workday begins.
As a 100% volunteer company, our members balance careers, families, and other responsibilities — and still answer when the pager goes off.
We remain staffed and available for any emergencies in our community.
If you’ve ever considered serving your community, we’re always looking for dedicated individuals to join our team. Learn more about volunteering at Neversink here:

Today, four of our members completed their second and final class of Firefighter Survival training, working through realistic, high-stress self-rescue scenarios and upper-floor operations.
After finishing class, that same crew is now staffing Rescue Engine 14 at Penryn Fire Company during their annual banquet to help maintain coverage.
Thank you to Penryn Fire Company No. 1 for their hospitality this evening.
Proud of the continued commitment shown in both training and service.

🔥 NEW NEVERSINK APPARATUS PATCHES 🔥
Built for the job. Worn with pride.
We’re proud to release two new apparatus patches that reflect how Neversink Fire Company goes to work when our community needs us most.
⚔️ Rescue-Engine | “Dragon Slayer”
Built for the hard jobs—technical calls, complex scenes, and moments that demand precision and adaptability. This patch represents confronting danger directly and having the skill to overcome it.
🔥 Engine 14 | “Dragon Wagon”
The backbone of our response. Engine 14 brings the water, the power, and the push when lives and property are threatened. Strong, reliable, and relentless—just like the crews behind it.
Both designs were created by Jobtown Graphics, who worked with us to turn our ideas into designs we’re proud to wear.
Every patch directly supports our volunteers, training, and operations.
Get yours while they’re still available.
